吉田焼

肥前吉田焼窯元共同組合が中心となり、いげ皿の理解を現代に解くプロジェクトが発足。いげ皿に対する理解と、現代に残る窯元の意志を繋ぐコピーを制作しました。
理解をほどいていくアプローチは、自分たちの立ち位置と想いを明確にするため。いげ皿の歴史から現代におけるいげ皿の定義を再構築し、プロジェクトの指針を示す役割を果たしています。

Yoshida-Yaki

Hizen Yoshida-Yaki Pottery Cooperative became the center of the creation of the project in cultivating a better understanding of the Igezara (Japanese porcelain produced in Ige, Saga prefecture). We have created the catch copy to connect the understanding of Ige-style plates with the remaining modern potters’ wills.
We have taken this approach to clarifying what their goal is in relating to where they currently stand. The catch copy helps to direct where the project is going towards, while also redeveloping the Ige-style plates’ definition from the history until today.
